Sum along a given axis.

The operator can be placed on the canvas in two ways:

From the Reductions Operations (``reduction'') toolbar $\resizebox{!}{2ex}{\includegraphics{images/sum}}% WIDTH=15 HEIGHT=14$ ; or
By typing the letters ``sum'' on the canvas and then pressing the Enter key.

The same result can be achieved by collapsing the relevant Ravel axis after choosing $$\Sigma$% WIDTH=21 HEIGHT=23$ from the ``Set next aggregation'' context menu.
